Quant Analyst - Investment Bank - IIT + CFA

Requirement for Quant Analyst (IIT + CFA) for a top investment bank

Key Accountabilities :

- To provide support in the production of timely publications both ahead of and in response to data releases/market events in the ABS sector. This includes gathering the relevant data, performing analysis, putting together drafts for periodical reports, etc

- To assist with analysis as required in response to queries from clients or traders

- Ensure that relevant databases are kept up to date in a timely and efficient manner

- Ensure marketing packs are updated as required

- Track news and update team on key happenings in the ABS sector

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree from IIT or premier engineering college (CFA desirable)

- Work experience in a similar profile, ideally for 1+ years

- Understanding of financial markets and instruments

- Strong interest in the subject matter

- Strong quantitative skills (programming experience desirable)

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Resourcefulness, and proactive attitude
