- Demand Planner is one of the key strategic role within Workforce management .

- The individual is responsible for enabling the visibility on the demands across BU 'and Geo's for future business.

- In order to stay relevant this role plays a major role in effectively and efficiently collating the forecast for the new and replacement positions.

- Role will require to collaborate closely with sales, Delivery, Finance & RMG / TA teams to establish predictable demand forecast, maintain forecast hygiene, run governance, improve forecasting models as we learn through the different cycles analyzing the best practice outcomes and fine tuning the approach and enable reporting to make informed decision making.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the resource forecasting cycle for the organization.

- Drive and implement change initiatives related to demand forecasting.

- Lead and participate in Demand forecasting discussions/decisions along with the different stakeholders and call out red flags early for course corrections.

- Maintain and Manage the data and ensure the demand forecast hygiene is at the expected levels and analyzing the forecasted vs the actuals gap.

- Analyzing historical data, market trends, and future projections to forecast demand and capacity requirements.

- Able to understand short term and long-term business plans and provide related analysis.

- Develop recommendations to headcount and supply / demand challenges for business implementation.

- Publish timely reports on forecast accuracy, visibility, various parameters taken into account .

Experience/Skills Needed:

- Demand forecasting life cycle is a must from IT organization background.

- Ability to manage and present at the senior leadership ( Good stakeholder management).

- Strong communication and analytical skills.

- Understanding of Utilization and financial metric and the how it impacts the overall Org level plans.

- Attention to details and highly organized and has to be a go getter.

- Experience working in a fast paced environment.

- Min of 14+ experience out of which relevant Forecasting / capacity planning experience of at least 8 years is a must.
