ROLE: Delivery Manager.
The ideal candidate must have experience of handling large and complex QA / Automation Testing projects in the aviation/airline sectors.
Location Gurgaon.
Minimum work experience 12 Years.
Should have minimum 4 to 5 years experience in Aviation domain.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 12 to 15 years of experience in IT Industry, preferably worked in service-based IT industry.
- 8-12 years of proven capabilities in strategic project management and leading mid to large service oriented large teams driving the profitability, customer success and people success agenda.
- Proven experience in leading Agile, DevOps, technology and digitization automation driven projects.
- Possess strong General Insurance domain knowledge (Preferred Indian clients).
- Strong delivery and technology excellence.
- Strong understanding on business value to be delivered to client with appropriate cost/ quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
- Contribute to strategic and policy development and implementation of the same in the organization.
- Allocate accountability amongst staff, manage career development of others, liaise with professional staff and other managers, advise the business on technology related issues & engage in short / medium / long term plan.
- Apply advanced knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programmes and procedures.
- Offer expertise cutting across units and make tactical decisions impacting business development and client relationship management.
- Advise Senior Management on specialized testing issues, conduct, support and report research in one's own areas of expertise.
- Support in new business proposition to bid management / account management team.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Undertake additional responsibilities/tasks as maybe required by the business.
- Review and Finalize the budget for the Engagement/s.
- Review, monitor & ensure closure/compliance of project parameters like schedule, quality, profitability, utilization, productivity, scope, risks.
- Provide Strategic direction to the Testing Function in the organization.
- Engage in Policy Development for Testing Function.
- Prepare and roll out Quality Process for Testing function in consultation.
- Prepare organization level Productivity matrices for Testing function.
- Inculcate industry wide Testing best practices in the organization.
- Develop Testing Competency in line with Organization needs.
- Identify Key stakeholders for the Testing function and drive the organization's testing objectives.
- Chart out short, Medium and long term objectives for the Testing function.
- Manage the Overall Testing Community.
- Advice / Provide Consultancy to Test Managers for business development, test Management and Testing related Project issues.
- Implement new and best practices across testing projects.
- Initiate and develop New Methods, Programmes and Procedures to conduct effective Testing across various projects.
- Provide guidance and support to New Testing Projects or Complex Testing Programmes across various units in terms of Process, Estimation Methods, Testing Tools, Test Strategizing, Adopting Best Practices and helping them to establish a firm base to deliver aggressively within agreed timelines and expected quality.
- Review current testing issues in the organization related to People, Process, Quality and Deliveries.
- Do Research and indicate probable root causes for the issues and corrective actions to be enforced.
- Support Senior Management in taking Testing related business decisions and providing Status and progress of the Testing Function in the organization.
- Prepare / Support / Review new business proposition to bid management / account management.
- Review Estimates / Costs for proposals.
