Quality Manager - Engineering

Position: Manager - Quality

Location: Bangalore

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech Mechanical

Experience: 6- 10 years

Nature of experience:

- Should have handled quality function activities in Engineering Industry preferably a special purpose machines building or similar industry, at the middle management level with few independent responsibilities. Should have handled & guided improvement and process projects with significant shift in results. Should have exposure & interacting ability with other fuctions. Should have strong understanding of quality, process & engineering concepts.

- Should be familiar to component and assembly ispections, material standards, CE marking and ISO Quality management systems preferable.

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Implementation of quality systems in manufacturing and assembly works

- Development and control of quality at Vendor locations on manufacture

- Customer quality presentations, interactions and equipment quality documentation.

- QMS system implementation and development

- Be a trainer and coordinator for quality related trainings for people development

Technical Competencies:

- Good knowledge in quality practices in manufacturing and assembly of special machineries and related system.

- Familiar with materials and inspection methods

- Knowledge of quality and EHS related certifications and quality management system.

- Knowledge of quality and EHS related certifications and quality management system

- Knowledge of equipment validations w.r.t quality, DQ to PQ phases and its implementation.
