Job Description -

- To ensure that Good Lab Practices are followed in the QC lab

- To ensure that all the necessary sampling, testing and calibration is carried out as per the approved specifications and SOP's.

- Timely approval of starting material, packaging material, intermediate, bulk, finished product and stability products.

- To ensure instruments are calibrated and analytical methods are validated and personnel follow good laboratory practices.

- To check the maintenance of the department, premises and equipment.

- To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.

- Monitoring of storage conditions for raw material reference samples.

- To maintain the out of specification log books, inspect, investigate, take samples, in order to monitor factors which may affect product quality.

- To approve the certificate of analysis for raw materials, packaging material and finished products.

- To ensure preparation and updation of SOP's for all instruments when required.

- Co-ordinate with other departments for the scheduling of analysis and release of the raw material, packaging material and intermediates and finished products.

- Responsible for maintaining Stability chambers & managing Stability studies related to New products / Vendor qualifications / Regular Product stabilities.

- Review budget for Quality control Lab consumables, ensure that Quality Control operations of the company are cost effective and efficiently managed.

- Review Quality related metrics and reports and undertake corrective measures regarding productivity and efficiencies

- Conducting interviews for recruitment of new staff.

- Proper GXPs implementation in all the departments

- Participate in Internal audits and self-inspection

- Any other job assigned by superior .
