Quality Assurance Manager - Instructional Design - eLearning

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive QA plans for all aspects of eLearning content, including:

- Content validation (accuracy, clarity, completeness)

- Accessibility compliance (WCAG 2. 2)

- Functionality testing (browser compatibility, device compatibility, SCORM integration)

- Define detailed test scenarios and test cases.

- Establish and manage review cycles throughout the content development process.

- Conduct thorough reviews of all eLearning content, including:

- Course structure, module, unit, and lesson taxonomy.

- Time allocations for instructional content, assignments, and quizzes.

- Lesson categories (core learning, immersive practice, quizzes, assignments).

- Ensure alignment with client requirements and learning objectives.

- Validate technical specifications, including responsive design and SCORM integration for Canvas LMS.

- Ensure seamless navigation and user experience across different devices (PCs, tablets, smartphones).

- Collaborate closely with instructional designers, vendors, graphic developers, and project managers.

- Provide constructive feedback to improve instructional content, technical design, and interactive elements.

- Ensure alignment with client frameworks and standards.

- Oversee the implementation of accessibility features (alt text, closed captions, keyboard navigation).

- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2. 2 standards and other accessibility guidelines.

- Track and report on QA findings and progress.

- Analyze QA data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within an eLearning environment.

- Strong understanding of eLearning principles, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning theories.

- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), particularly Canvas LMS.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2. 2) and best practices.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
