The Role: QA Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

QA Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans.

- Ensure alignment of QA activities with project goals and deadlines.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes.

- Ensure proper execution of all test phases (unit, integration, system, regression, acceptance).

- Identify, document, and track defects, and ensure timely resolution.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.

- Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies, and implement improvements where applicable.

- Drive initiatives to enhance test automation and efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with development, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration between QA and other teams.

- Provide regular reports on QA activities, progress, and issues to senior management.

Training and Development:

- Develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the QA team.

- Promote a learning environment by encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous education.

Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree .

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
