Job Description : AVP - Investment Banking.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven wealth managers/portfolio managers to identify, engage, and onboard high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) interested in investing in alternate asset class (PE, CCD, NCD, SDI etc).

This role requires experience in managing wealth portfolio with deep understanding of investment strategies, strong networking skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with investors.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Sourcing & Acquisition:

- Should be able to sustain and deliver on his/her own portfolio.

- Identify and target high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and family offices interested in angel investing.

- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new investors through networking, events, and digital outreach.

- Leverage personal and professional networks to connect with potential investors.

- Manage the mapped Qi investors and explore further opportunities and deepen the relationship.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with angel investors, understanding their investment preferences and risk appetite.

- Provide investors with insights on early-stage investment opportunities, market trends, and start-up ecosystems.

- Organize and host investor networking events, webinars, and pitch sessions.

Investment Advisory & Deal Structuring:

- Educate investors on startup investment strategies, risks, and portfolio diversification.

- Facilitate deal flow between startups and investors by curating high-potential investment opportunities.

- Assist in structuring deals, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with investment regulations.

Business Development & Market Expansion:

- Develop partnerships with incubators, accelerators, venture capital firms, and other startup ecosystem players.

- Expand the investor base across different regions and industry verticals.

- Utilize data-driven insights to refine investor outreach strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and legal frameworks related to private investments.

- Educate investors on due diligence best practices and risk mitigation strategies.

- Maintain accurate records of investor interactions, commitments, and fund deployment.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Education & Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree, Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields (MBA preferred).

- Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FINRA (if applicable) are a plus.

Experience:

- 5 years of experience in wealth management, Private banking Relationship management, private equity, venture capital, or financial services.

- Min of 100cr of existing portfolio.

- Proven track record of working with HNWIs, family offices, or institutional investors.

Key Skills:

- Strong understanding of wealth management, investment portfolio management, equities and other markets, startup investing, venture capital, and fundraising processes.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

- Ability to analyze investment opportunities and articulate value propositions to investors.

- Proficiency in CRM tools, investor databases management.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
