Job details are as follows:

- Responsible for the coordination of Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Classification and Tracking, Requirements Coverage, Test Automation and Management of Metrics and Reporting resulting from these activities.

- It includes coordination for the identification of Test Cases, Script Writing and assisting in solving issues related to the functionality of internal and external applications affecting testing activities.

- Acquires the sign off of Test Requirements Coverage, Test Scripts, Test Plan, Test execution and Defect Results from the appropriate stakeholders.

- Evaluates, recommends, and implements improvements to the testing methodology in addition to providing training and assisting configurators, developers, process team members and business users in the use of that QA test methodology and toolset supporting it.

- Partners with Configurators, application development and process teams to ensure that processes and procedures are being followed.

- Provides quality assurance expertise in all development and deployment projects from initiation through implementation

Essential Functions:

QA Application Testing and Analysis:

- Excellent Knowledge to Identify SAP Master and Transactional Data according to a provided Selection Criteria. This data will be used to run test cycles in Non-Production systems.

- Excellent Knowledge and understanding of SAP Reporting and Analytics solutions which meet business requirements

- Excellent Depth of the SAP Solution and ability to Execute Test Scripts Manually for at least one Process Track: OTC, P2P, SCE, FIN, BI.

- Excellent Depth of the SAP Solution and ability to Execute Test Scripts Manually between multiple Modules and Process tracks will be desired, including understanding of integration points

- Business process knowledge which support comprehensive understanding of business goals

- Expert on the Toolset used by Ingram Micro (HPQC, QTP, SAP TAO, HP Load Runner)

- Proven experience defining the Test Scope based on the Portfolio of Test Cases available, Test Cycle Objectives and Changes introduced

- Excellent Command Executing Automated Test Scripts and successfully troubleshoot them when technical issues arise

- Excellent Knowledge and Proven Experience to Develop Test Scripts for QTP and/or Load Runner

- Excellent Knowledge to Identify Defects on the Solution even beyond the script requirements and steps

- Excellent Experience Troubleshooting and Resolving Solution Defects

- Ability to clearly documenting defects and its resolutions as well as Test Execution Status reports

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, work both independently and as a team, strong customer service focus

- Problem solving skills, ability to analyze and solve complex business problems

- Drives teams to properly identify Test Requirements and obtain their sign-off.

- Coordinates efforts to define Test Coverage. This includes the identification of test cases based on the expected coverage of IM E2E Business Scenarios to ensure test activities are addressing business requirements.

- Ensures appropriate traceability is retained and documented between Test Cases and Requirements.

- Ensures that all Test Cases have process owners assigned (Scenario Owners).

- Coordinates activities to identify the Testing Scope for planned releases based on the portfolio of available test cases and requirements of functional scope to be deployed.

- Defines the Test Plan, using the Toolset defined by IM, to manage the testing activities including Testing Cycles.

- Coordinates with the Process team members and Data Management teams to ensure Test Data is available for their executions.

- Defines and updates strategies to properly coordinate Test Data Governance for each environment (Development, Test, QA)

- Ensures that Deployment and process teams have appropriate guidelines to conduct their testing activities, including systems, PCs, tools, rooms, and any other logistics needs.

- Prepares and delivers training material to communicate the approach, methodology, plans and progress associated with testing activities

- Conducts regular sessions to ensure Defects get classified, prioritized, and addressed in a timely manner.

- Addresses and follows up on issues related to test activities and escalates to management for resolution when required.

- Ensures that coverage of testing activities is appropriate, from the E2E Business Scenarios, Non E2E functional testing, Input and Output validations, Batch Job execution, Security testing, etc.

- Provides appropriate analysis, monitoring and reporting for the different audiences including Process Team members, Configurators, Developers, Management and Executives. Ensures Program Standard Charts are generated on time and according to schedule.

- Ensures that quality of documentation and use of toolset is meeting IM expectations.

- Ensures that Executions and Defect resolution are properly planned, staffed and executed. Monitors progress in a daily bases and escalates issues that might prevent reaching their targets.

- Ensures that Testing Automation Strategy is executed to hit the automated script targets.

- Manages / Coordinates the group of off-shore resources that will be executing Testing Activities like Regression Testing. Ensure that this group has clearly defined objectives, activities, deliverables and targets to support the testing execution and automation.

- Oversees that the toolset is properly managed and protected, backups are taken in a regular basis, access to users is appropriate, systems are properly patched, outages are properly scheduled and response time is appropriate for the user community.

- Manages number Licenses required by toolset and follows IM processes to approve and acquire additional if required.

- Oversees and recommends adoption of new products and version upgrades based on business cases.

- Ensures System and infrastructure Environment readiness, including SAP Systems and their Clients by coordinating with other teams including Basis and Technical Teams.

- Uses Toolset (HP Quality Center, HP Quick Test Pro, HP Load Runner, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Test Application and Optimization, MS Sharepoint Portal, Remedy, and other related tools) to document and track the testing portfolio, requirements, plan, execution and defects.

- Ensures all products including in deployments and releases are appropriately covered by the test cases. It includes ECC 6.0, GTS, SCM, BI, SRM, Web Site, EDI, XML and legacy applications used by Ingram Micro as part of the Application Portfolio among others.

- Responds to requests submitted by Internal and External Audit and ensures findings are properly addressed and escalated.

- Supports and adheres to current IM Global Development and Deployment Methodologies and Standards

- Seeks approval and sign-off of Deliverables associated with Testing Activities
