- As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.


PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:


- Responsible for creating and delivering on Global Work force strategy across business units.


- Totality of forecasting, Staffing, Scheduling and making adjustments in real time, capacity planning, work force management, productivity, utilization, efficiency, leading to profitability for the organization.

- Periodical tracking of actuals against the budget.

- Act as point of contact for resource booking confirmation, conflict resolution, and development of solutions in support of business goals

- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

- Build, maintain, and communicate resource forecast.

- Receive, analyze and report on weekly utilization reports to BU/Operational Lead.

- Work with Senior Managers and cluster leads to identify appropriate resource requirements for their respective clusters/markets.

- Alert Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.

- Manage and support the PwC Private leader in leading the expansion and growth in the overall Corporate practice.

- Run weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues / conflict resolution with Senior managers and BU/OU lead.

- Promote and encourage others to value difference when working in diverse teams.

- Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders.

- Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.

- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

People Responsibilities

- Recommend process improvements for Resource Management.

- Responsible for managing overall utilization.

- Work with the Resource Management team to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current staff members.

- Manage overall training/cross-training, hiring recommendations based on forecasted resource needs. Ensuring the right resources, with the right skillsets, available at the right times.

- Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.

- Develop & Manage a Cross Training program for the Professional Services team with the end goal of maximizing billable resource utilization.

- Build and foster high quality relationship with engagement team and territory teams Leadership Attributes

- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with tax professionals of diverse backgrounds.

Minimum years' experience required :

- MBA from a premier Institute - Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience as Resource Manager/Planner


Additional application instructions Experience preferable in these areas:

- Experience in leading the Resource Management teams of other Big4 in India would be of added advantage

- Experience in partnering with hiring managers on hiring strategies & processes helping to have a desired pool of resources for staffing in terms of Headcount and skills.

- Experience of leading large teams and a desire to actively develop team members.
