Job Description :
The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Associate Director will include the following:
- To assist the client teams in strategizing the appeals to be filed before the Tribunal / High Court / Supreme Court
- To argue matters independently before the DRP/ Tribunal / AAR
- To guide the juniors during preparation of matters for the Tribunal
- To assist the Partner / Director in arguing high stake cases before the Tribunal / AAR;
- To take adjournments in the critical matters
- To mentors and provide feedbacks to the team members on a regular basis
Profile:
Requirements:
To qualify for the same an Associate Director will need:
- To be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ year of relevant experience or a person who has a Degree in law from a recognised University with 7+ year of relevant experience.
Other prerequisite skills include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- Number crunching ability
- Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills
- Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving
- Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated
Subject Matter Expertise required :
- Thorough technical knowledge of Direct Tax, International Tax and Transfer Pricing issues
- Good Excel, presentation and report writing skills Be Open Minded, Practical & Agile with Change
