Job description - Key responsibilities:
1. Forecasting & Headcount planning:
- Collaborate with Business Leaders to set the plan and forecast for the fiscal.
- Partner with hiring managers on hiring strategies & processes helping to have a desired pool of resources for staffing in terms of Headcount and skills.
- Providing inputs to Business Leaders and hiring managers based on demand supply analysis on periodic basis.
2. Staffing:
- Optimal utilization of resources - planning, forecasting and allocation of practitioners to maximize efficiency.
- Help set up and maintain Deployment Schedules and determine staffing requirements with Market Team's help.
- Mapping the available capabilities with the current & future pipeline of demands, analyze the gaps and work with business to mitigate the excess supply/shortage
- Partnering with RMs/SPOCs from other business areas to have awareness on the availability/demand situation to collaborate and cater to business needs accordingly.
- Have discussion with the Market Leader and/or Business Leader
- On urgent and volume of unfilled roles
- On current/forecasted availability or shortage
- On high-risk staffing situations
- Maintaining appropriate leverage in staffing
- Manage staffing conflicts.
- To have regular connects (weekly/biweekly) with Market Leads
Utilization:
- Analyze utilization of practitioners on a regular basis.
- Have connects with practitioners/Team Leads on variance, if any.
- Analyze the trends in utilization and provide suggestions/feedback to business.
- Suggest/facilitate cross training/skilling based on business needs.
Reporting Analytics:
- Manage staffing data and ensure accuracy & integrity
- Provide reporting & analysis on staffing to Business Leaders and other Talent functions.
- Interpret the staffing data/reports into suggestions for Business and other Talent functions towards effective management of resources and demands.
