We are looking for an extremely self-motivated individual who will relish the opportunity to join the Independence Office.
The following would be his/her key job responsibilities:
- hold experience of contracts review, drafting, and synopsis
- Ability to interpret statutes, policies and legal documents
- Ability to carry out in-depth research on any aspect of policies matters and prepare lucid synopsis for training firm professionals on policies and compliance matters
- Understand processes and meet deadlines or escalate when required
- Understand monitoring processes related to compliance matters to ensure deliverables are in accordance with Independence policies and procedures and meet quality and required timelines
- The individual should have the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on professional standards or quality of the work
- Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member: understand personal and team roles, contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback
- Adhere to PwC Kolkata AC policies and procedures
- Participate in training and other developmental opportunities
- The individual should have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Requirements:
- Preferably legal and compliance background with at least 4 years' experience
- Strong drafting and documentation skills, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of processes and contractual clauses
- Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to details, ability to multitask and adapt in fast paced environment and during transition processes
- Ability to brainstorm on policy matters, compliance requirements and put across content for user awareness
- Ability to carry out research and prepare comprehensive synopsis of long policies and legal updates/amendments
- Inclination and interest in compliance related matters
- Strong application and presence of mind
- Should take ownership
- Able to take decisions
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including excel knowledge) and good PowerPoint presentations skills
- Team player, dynamic, committed to providing high quality, responsibility and maintaining timeliness
- Demonstrate self-motivation and desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development
