Job Description – Manager Internal Audit – Oil and Gas (Oil Refinery)

Experience – Manager (5 to 8 yrs post year of passing),

Qualification – CA,MBA

Location – Delhi

1. Good communication skills and should have been working with a good MNC/preferably the big 4 (worked on Oil and Gas with Oil refinery clients)

2. Preferably someone who has experience with Oil and gas to specialization in Oil Refineries

3. Can actively manage multiple small and/ or medium-sized engagements simultaneously, or a large multi-location engagement, involving on an average 6 or more staff and 1 or more client staff. Adopts a holistic approach to the engagement by (a) understanding the rationale for the engagement; as well as (b) making a conscious effort to understand the client’s industry and business.

4. Is able to actively define the scope of the assignment so as to maintain a balance between the effort, cost and expected value addition by the client.

5. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Internal Audit Framework w.r.t.

- Sampling Guidance

- Working Paper Requirements

- Re-performance Standards

- Quality Requirements

- Social Compliance reviews while guiding junior colleagues.

6. Also demonstrate ability to tailor and then use appropriate methodology / practice aide /work plan for use during a client engagement.

7. Technical skills - basic understanding of SOX (have done SOX related work is desirable), basic understanding of ERP systems - atleast SAP/Oracle (desirable), knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS (desirable).

Soft skills –

- Project Management – Leading the project from the front, timely execution and completion, ability to foresee project pain areas and work out alternate resolutions

- Communication & Interpersonal – good communication and presentation skills, ability to discuss and handle senior management of the clients, connecting well with the client and team members.

- Report writing – clarity of thought, articulation of observation/issues, good command over written language

- Business Development – ability to prepare good proposals (not only in terms of the look & feel, but also the content, effort estimation, comprehending client requirement, etc), effectively handle client sales calls

- General – self starter, highly committed, self motivated, driven by objectives and high value system

Other skills - working knowledge of MS Office-atleast word, power point and excel; IT system audits (desirable)
