Job Description for Oracle Consultant/Senior Consultant
Qualification - Chartered Accountant (CA)/B.E/B Tech with MBA Finance
Level - Consultant/Senior Consultant
Competency -
1. Oracle Financials configuration with minimum one End-to-End Implementations and at least two Support Projects
2. Must have Strong functional knowledge of Standard business process flows in Oracle Financials suite (GL, AR, AP etc.) and related modules in Oracle E-Business suite, RMS, SCM etc.
3. Experience preferably from a large Manufacturing or IT setup would be preferred.
4. Good understanding of functional domain and finance process.
5. Understanding of Software development lifecycle.
6. Requirement gathering/ System Requirement Specification (SRS) documentation
7. Experience and Exposure to IT governance
8. Hands on testing experience/ documentation of test scenarios/ managing UAT
9. Affinity with large organizations and large projects
10. Proficiency with MS Word/ Excel/ Power Point
Details of Role and Responsibility
1. Provides specialist level functional consulting and configuration knowledge in designing Oracle functional solutions in the R12 modules
2. Should have sound configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting and Cash and Bank accounting, automatic payment programs.
3. Understand dependency between different Oracle
4. Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate modules of Oracles and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge
5. Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
