Associate Director - Reconciliations Platform at PwC India


Job Summary:


PwC India is seeking applications for the position of an Associate Director for their Reconciliations Platform, from candidates with 10-15 years of relevant experience.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following aspects:


- Product functional champion with experience in selling products


- SME for Reconciliations relating to Finance & Business operations


- Pre-Sales/Solutioning conversation at the demo stage


- Support in sales closure


- Product implementation with functional coverage to deployment team


The candidate should have experience in Finance Operations & Transformation experience with a focus on record to report and the following illustrative reconciliations:


- GL


- Bank / Vendor / Customer reconciliation


- Inter-company


- Balance Sheet


- Reconciliation between applications or database etc.


Key Responsibilities:


- Functional Product ownership - understanding of platform end to end and usage in various client situations


- Lead the product solutioning conversations with client - including PoCs, Process maps, demonstrate use-cases and create proposals with to-be


- Understand the landscape of reconciliations products with insights on industry solutions, new development and product roadmap


- Provide functional inputs to product team to arrive at implementation effort and pricing


- Lead the functional deployment of reconciliation platform from a use case build point of view for a specific client


- Lead Process Discovery or diagnostic if needed with a client


- Get involved in the product testing and deployment based on client need


- Lead the product functional module build up for various use-cases


Key Skills:


- Finance Operations and Transformation experience in GL, Record to Report, Reconciliations


- Experience working with Reconciliation platforms like Blackline, Cadency etc


- Hands on experience on doing reconciliation to understand the stakeholder persona


- Process mapping, BRD creation experience to aid in writing the use case


- Solutioning mindset which involves fitment of a product in different client situations


- Excellent Communication skills


- Technical skills - Product understanding, ERP understanding etc.


- Strong interpersonal skills


- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively


Key Qualifications & Experience:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree - CA/ICWA/MBA Finance


- 10-15 Years in Finance Domain Finance operations including Record to Report and GL


- Finance Transformation Experience with Shared Services, BPOs, Big4, IT/BPM Companies"
