Purplle.com is India's leading Online Beauty destination founded in the year 2012 by Rahul Dash and Manish Taneja. Purplle works with over 400 beauty product brands and over 6000 salons and spas spread across 17 cities in India.

Purplle.com has grown 400% YoY for the last three years and has captured 20% market share in the on-line beauty market

In pursuit of this, Purplle.com is looking to hire a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for the end-to-end Digital growth of Purplle.

We are looking for a start-up leader with an extensive experience in Online Marketing, is a creative thinker and has a strong business intellect to take Purplle to the next level.

Your responsibilities include :

- Lead and be accountable for the entire Digital growth of Purplle

- Planning, implementing and managing digital marketing strategies and tactical execution plans across all online channels.

- These channel includes PPC, SEO, Mobile ad-networks, Display advertising, Retargeting, Affiliate marketing, Email marketing, FB/Twitter and Google ads.

- Leverage a "test, measure and refine" approach to constantly improve the campaign performances and increase the ROI & Profitability.

- Lead and build the team of marketing specialists handling SEM, SEO, Social Media, Affiliates and other channels.

- Increase customer acquisition and revenues organically with innovative & creative ways, which are beyond paid ads channels.

- Help achieve the goal of transitioning Purplle to a mobile first environment.

- External Partnerships - Work with the Affiliate partners to drive more revenue growth and also build the pipeline of Alliances and Partnerships for cross-channel partnerships or mutually exclusive deals.

- Work closely with analytics and product team to champion a data-driven approach to customer marketing and engagement.

- Acquiring customers, retention and engagement on the Mobile Apps will be an important responsibility.

- Driving Purplle's Mobile App Growth.

- Work closely with the PR and other offline agencies on various marketing campaigns

- Coordinating the creation of marketing materials as and when needed.

- Managing our external communications via website/content, print collateral and public relations/media relation's activities.

Desired skills, experience & qualifications :

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Digital Marketing Agency or an Ecommerce company.

- Extensive experience in Google AdWords is a must along with knowledge of other Ad channels.

- Detailed understanding of all Marketing channels including Adwords, Facebook ads, SEO, Social media, Email Marketing, Affiliates marketing and web analytics

- Have managed multi-million dollar marketing budgets.

- Ability to attract, retain and motivate a broad marketing team of professionals

- Ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners.

- Strong project management and coordination skills

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on the growth targets.

- Experience in managing team is a MUST.

- Excellent Communication and analytical skills is a MUST.

- Educational background from Tier-1 Colleges will be an added advantage (IIM/IIT/NSIT/BITS)

- Experience in App Marketing is a BIG plus.

In short, our desired candidate is someone who has an extensive experience in Digital marketing and who is passionate about doing everything required to hack Purplle's Digital Growth. Our Aim is to grow 10X in the next 12 months and we are looking for the Head who will own and deliver on this growth target.
