Designation : Business Manager - SEO

Job Description :

- As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our clients' projects, ensuring their success and satisfaction.

- Your role will involve understanding clients' businesses thoroughly, developing strategies, managing teams, and ensuring the achievement of project goals.
Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

1. Client Communication and Understanding:

- Initiate contact with clients upon project initiation.

- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the client's business, including products, services, short-term and long-term goals, and project requirements.

- Keep clients updated on project progress and hold monthly client meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.

Project Management:

- Exercise effective priority management to ensure equal attention to all assigned projects.

- Develop strategies for local, national, multi-location, and e-commerce sites.

- Assess website penalties and provide remediation strategies.

- Address server-level challenges and provide guidance on AngularJS, Ajax, and server-level issues related to crawling.

- Implement schema markups, AMP, and rectify errors post-implementation.

- Improve website download speed by understanding FCD and FID.

- Provide source code level recommendations and guidance on content marketing channels for SEO impact.

Data Management and Reporting:

- Migrate data fetching from Google Analytics and Google Search Console through Google Data Studio for automation.

- Conduct monthly project review meetings with the team using ProofHub data and custom dashboards on OneDrive.

- Prepare minutes of meeting (MoM) outlining action items for the team and business leads.

- Generate analytics reports every four months to offer fresh perspectives.

Content Marketing and Blogging:

- Write one article every quarter for the official blog, covering topics of choice.

- Hold monthly meetings with the content team to explore new opportunities for content outreach that impact SEO results.

Opportunity Analysis and Performance Management:

- Conduct a new opportunity analysis for projects under your supervision every two months.

- Ensure that all projects meet performance goals and manage client expectations effectively, even in challenging situations.

Team Management and Process Adherence:

- Ensure that the team follows required processes at all times and provide necessary guidance and training.

- Keep track of project deviations and notify relevant stakeholders for commercial aspects.

- Create and review PowerPoint presentations for monthly and quarterly reviews, showcasing the value added by the SEO team to the client's business.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in project management, preferably in digital marketing or SEO.

- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

- Familiarity with content marketing strategies and SEO best practices.

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
