Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager for the Western region will oversee sales operations, business growth, and channel expansion for the EV 2-wheeler business. This role demands a dynamic leader with extensive experience in managing distribution networks, channel development, revenue enhancement, and demand generation. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of appointing dealers/distributors in the 2W Automotive industry.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

- 10-15 years of proven track record in dealer/distribution appointment roles and must be within the 2W automotive sector.

- Self-driven with a lean team, and scaling operations in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Development and Management:

- Onboarding proven ICE 2W and other automotive dealers across key markets who have the monetary resources and manpower to deliver quick expansion through sub-dealers.

- Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed regional revenue and P&L on a monthly basis.

- Strengthen channel partnerships through retail finance tie-ups, incentivizing dealers on targets and BTL activities.

2. Dealer Compliance and Cash Flow Management:

- Ensuring each dealer on-boarding paper work, LoA/LoI, dealership agreements, working capital norms, VAHAN compliances are in place.

- Build and sustain strong showroom compliances with dealers and their sales staff to enhance the customer purchase experience.

- Extensive training to dealers and their staff on the brand USP & product knowledge.

- Guiding dealers to clinch bulk corporate and government deals to boost the sales of e-motorcycles where the current competition is lower.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives across all dealer outlets including the usage of our DMS (IRIS), and submitting weekly/monthly MIS reports.

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Exceptional negotiation, and appointment closure skills.

- Willingness and ability to travel across the region.
