Key Accountabilities/Activities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction-related materials and equipment.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels and adjust procurement strategies as needed.
- Manage and mentor the procurement team and provide guidance on all purchasing matters.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement regulations and policies.
- Continuously monitor and analyze procurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure that all purchases are within budgetary constraints.
- Provide technical guidance to the procurement team in the selection of construction materials and equipment.
