Responsibilities:
- Identification of new sources on a continuous basis for the various products and services required by client and associate companies.
- All new purchases or works / service orders should have competitive quotes to be obtained in order to evaluate and place orders on best supplier at low cost with no compromise on quality or service.
- Manage Indenting and Purchase Order Processing
- Improve and augment the indenting process to cover more areas and to integrate it with PO generation
- Meet procurement parameters like TAT, Quality and Price.
- Liaise with Internal departments and units
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal customers
- Ability to manage vendors for multi-location activities
- Excellent computer proficiency and good familiarity with procurement software packages
- Very good knowledge of technology purchases (hardware and software)
- Must have handled Purchase activities for office supplies, civil and interior works etc.
- Impeccable integrity.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Should have hands on experience in handling purchase function independently
Professional Requirement:
- Should have extensive knowledge in procurement and sourcing.
- Ability to manage the vendors with good negotiation skills and prioritising against tight deadlines.
- Good networking connect.
