Purchase Manager - Agro Commodity/FMCG

Position - Purchase Manager (Diversity candidate only)

Reporting to - GM (Raw Materials)

Education - Graduate in Agri or Engineer with a MBA

Industry - FMCG (in particular food)

Experience – 5 to 12 yrs out of which 4 yrs in sourcing of agri commodities

CTC can go upto 25-30 lakhs.

Key Responsibilities–

- Purchase Manager – Processed Agro will manage portfolio of processed agri products (Cocoa, Oats, DHA, Maize products, chemicals, dry nuts, and dried vegetables having pricing discovery basis seasonal crop production whereas significant portion of cost is in value addition as well. Thus in addition to crop monitoring Purchase Manager will also engage with supply partners and identify areas of cost for collaboration to identify initiatives to improve total cost of delivery.

- Purchase Manager will also work with supply partners to asses Company capacity requirement to meet Mission Billion and see if adequate capacity and supplier base is available and drive quality/delivery improvement program for the pillar while Purchase Manager’s driving interventions. In addition to this Purchase Manager will also take responsibility of monitoring supply flow scores across sites and track initiatives for same with accountability with respective Manager’s.
