Tendering Head

In our 100% subsidiary Starworth Infrastructure, we are looking for a - Tendering Head - Starworth Infrastructure and Construction Limited specializes in residential and commercial development projects all over India. The company armed with its expertise and capabilities in executing all the in house projects of Puravankara group during last 11 years is in the process of spreading its wings into taking up third party contracts for execution as a new front for its expansion.
We have a requirement for Tendering Head (on priority). The ideal candidate should have atleast 18-20+ years- experience and from any of the top contracting companies such as L&T, SP, IVRCL, NCC, Simplex and the like
- Extensive experience in Estimating & Tendering - Cost Analysis & Budgeting
- Preparation of Risk Analysis at Tender stage as well as execution stage and its Mitigation.
- Business Development activities pre-tender and post-tender stage.
- Exposure to Execution of large civil/infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in Planning, Monitoring and Resource allocation.
- Exposure to Coordinating & Controlling the projects from corporate office.
- Expertise in preparation of Project Budget and Cash Flow, Client billing, Extra items and Claims.
- Administration of sub-contract works and Rate analysis of Contract and Sub-Contract works.
- Identification and finalization of suitable JV Partners. Co-ordination with JV partners and specialized agencies.
- Negotiable contracts terms, pricing / payment schedule
- Liaise closely with internal depts. on all contractual matters
- Attending meeting with various clients/customers with regard to various projects.
- Conducting and attending In-house meetings with various departments related to tendering and marketing.
- Develop, review & monitor compliance of the tender & contracts policies & guidelines
- Handle the documentation of the tenders and ensure accurate / timely submissions
Selection Criteria :
- Min Degree or Diploma in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
- Atleast 15-20 years of experience in handling major projects in Contracts Management in Civil or Infrastructure industry
- Good interpersonal, leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Strong negotiation as well as oral and written skills in English
- Good Networking skills
