As Projects manager, you would be driving strategic Buying and merchandising projects which require working closely with multiple stakeholders across sales, merchandising, planning, sourcing, marketing departments in order to deliver key business priorities of sales, margin and business efficiencies.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with head of B&M to drive business critical projects
- Develop end to end understanding of Puma business and key KPIs by channel
- Work on strategic projects by identifying specific category, business unit and new product categories for incremental business
- Have a keen eye for new trends in product, channel, promotion and other business impacting areas
- Build decks, prepare business case and plans for Global and local presentations
- Look into ways and methods for maximizing product and process efficiencies across merchandising functions
- Work closely with product, category and merchandising teams for coordinating on data and other information needed to drive projects
- Continuous study, analysis and review of business reports to deliver all of the above
- Collect market intelligence on competition brands with respect to product, pricing and distribution channels
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- PG from top tier B school or NIFT
- 7-8 years of experience (at least 3-4 years of merchandising experience)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Enjoys working with numbers, working on business scenarios and problem solving.
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good Microsoft excel, power point and presentation skills
- Knowledge of other analytical tools will be useful
- Ability to multitask and willingness to learn new technology/tools as required by business
- Prior experience in Retail/ecommerce industry is key
