Area Retail Manager
Basic Function :
- This is a full-time position and is primarily focused on leading and managing the operations in assigned region in PUMA India
Principle Responsibilities :
Store Operations :
- To develop a staff structure at our retail stores that help us maximize sales and quality standards
- To identify high performers from our staff pool and develop a growth path for them.
- To ensure consistency in PUMA retail standards, especially in visual merchandising, merchandise management, service excellence, marketing & operations
Financials & Reporting :
- Ensure store profitability for owned and operated stores by meeting the budgeted sales numbers
- Explore additional opportunities to meet budgeted sales
- Ensure store shrinkage & stock inaccuracies are at prescribed levels
- Store KPIs namely, UPT,ATV,Transaction have healthy growth in sync with organizational objectives
New Store Openings :
- To contribute to timely opening of new stores by site supervision, local co-ordination and local assistance to retail project team
- To closely work with all concerned stakeholders in order to open the new puma stores as per retail guidelines
People Management :
- Develop store employees by mentoring and coaching on the aspects of VM, product & service training at store level.
- Retaining top talent and controlling attrition at the stores.
Knowledge And Skills :
The candidates for the position will require a range of personal and professional skills, as well as :
- Strategic, consultative and relationship selling skills are required.
- Outstanding customer service skills required.
- Sales experience and/or a proven track record in an outbound sales environment required
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills are required.
- Ability to work well with other departments within the company required.
- Candidates with exposure to playing competitive Sports will be preferred
Qualifications : Minimum Qualification MBA graduate
