Basic Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech + MBA
- Minimum 5-12 yrs. of procurement experience for government / public sector clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and should be able to make impressive presentations and reports.
- Must Have experience:
1. Experience in procurement experience for government / public sector clients..
2. Excellent knowledge of e-procurement portal, Govt e-Marketplace, DGSD procedures, General Financial Rules, CVC guidelines on procurement etc.
3. Experience of tendering, single source procurement, empanelment of vendors etc.
Good to have:
1. Experience in foodgrain/commodity/perishables business.
2. Experience of managing transport contracts
3. PMP/Prince2 certification
Other competencies:
- Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to assist the team as a subject matter expert for preparing responses to RFPs/RFIs
- Self-driven. Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people across functions
- Strong analytical skills & a go-getter with high drive and ownership
- The organization is a good paymaster and remuneration will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
- The role requires occasional travel.
