Job Responsibility:
The role will be responsible for managing Xiaomi's reputation in the Government and amongst Industry stakeholders and executing various initiatives to for stakeholder management and confidence building. The role operates at the intersection of Policy advocacy, Corporate PR and Industry/Stakeholder relations
Job Duties:
- Building programs and projects that can help showcase Xiaomi's contribution to the Indian Economy & Consumers and set way forward agenda for the same. Ex., Digital India, Make in India, Skill India, 5G etc
- Work with the Public Affairs agency in crafting programs, research, white papers, events to showcase Xiaomi
- Work on Policy advocacy aimed at the Government & Industry stakeholders as well as Consumer facing research and White papers in collaboration with Analysts, Agencies and Academia
- Curate the Corporate PR strategy and messaging with the PR team
- Develop assets, authored articles, research titbits etc social media dissemination
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Public affairs expertise with 12+ years of experience (6+ years if from a Premium Institute)
- Media houses, Industry associations, Public affairs teams in large multi-nationals
- Strategic acumen to conceptualize strategies
- Project management skills to drive execution
- Clarity on oral & written communication
