This role may have direct reports basis given assignments and will work under a Project lead (DM/Mgr)

Overall Job Purpose :

- Independently lead and deliver high-value management consulting engagements across a variety of business areas and geographies.

- Work with clients on delivering critical strategic initiatives across the Prudential Group

- Manage a team of 2 - 3 analysts during project delivery and act as mentor for analysts in the consulting team

- Provide inputs on regular reports emanating from the research team and Develop thought leadership articles and white papers on the emerging trends/disruptions in the industry and demonstrate expertise and credibility.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities :

- Assume responsibility for end-to-end delivery of engagements - including delivering high-quality output within appropriate timelines, managing client expectations, developing team members etc.

- Structured analysis on the issue at hand using industry-wide as well as proprietary frameworks. Identify issues and form hypotheses and solutions to client situations

- Work closely with CXOs and senior management members of the client to produce the desired outcome

- Present findings and recommendations to clients using high-quality decks and reports

- Enable implementation of recommendations/solutions and ensure that the recommended business outcome is delivered

- Project management of strategic cross functional initiatives along with providing required business inputs to enable successful delivery

- Liaise with the client to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions

- Actively seek opportunities within the client's organization to expand our scope and scale of projects

- Leverage previous project experience to develop thought leadership articles and collaterals for business development

- Access secondary databases and free web to collate and synthesize information based on business requirements

- Analyse data on market, industry, and competitors of the Prudential and ensuring structure, content, timelines etc. are as per client specifications

- Manage projects independently for structure and scope as per client requirements

- Analyse macro-environment, industry dynamics and track competitors- financial performance

- Provide research, data, ideas, and materials for presentations and briefings given (internally and externally)

- Maintain a watching brief over developing/emerging trends to provide early warning of issues or opportunities

- Interact with clients on project deliverables and establish regular communication with them

- Mentor and manage deliverables of junior team members in terms of quality and timelines

- Handle client feedback on deliverables and maintain project-level interactions

- Maintain proper documentation/ repository of deliverables and client communication. Create reusable knowledge assets post completion of a consulting engagement

- Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions, and failures that arise

Education / Knowledge / Skills required

Education/Knowledge :

- MBA from a premier institution

- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Good working knowledge of financial services industry

Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in management consulting

- Experience in developing and delivering digital strategy or implementation projects is preferable

- Highly numerate, being able to work through and deal with complex concepts and data

- Programme Management

- Ability to lead a team to deliver projects within timelines and quality parameters

- Stakeholder Management

- Experience of working with research tools and databases is preferable

- Analytical skills in order to interpret and translate large volumes of complex market, product and company information into concise and accurate summaries as required

- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

- Good planning and prioritizing skills
