Accountabilities/Responsibilities :

- Recording and maintaining proper books of accounts

- Ensure complete and accurate reporting of costs per function including accruals.

- Provide clarifications / information to management on the Financial Information.

- Ensure operation of agreed financial controls including all relevant reconciliations.

- Keep up to date with reporting standards development, covering INDIANGAAP and IFRS.

- Coordination of physical verification of fixed assets, Investments of funds within the prescribed mandate approved by the Company, Managing Banking Relationships and ensuring payments to vendors and statutory dues within the set timelines.

- Coordination of customs and central excise clearing requirements for imports and STPI requirements.

- Plan and schedule work to meet deliverable time lines

- Co-ordinate and monitor process improvement initiatives

- Prepare and implement robust cross training plans

- To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise

Knowledge And Skills : (Key)

- Technical accounting knowledge, INDIANGAAP and IFRS.

- Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced) and PeopleSoft.

- Strong communication skills, both oral & written

- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation & externally.

- Time Management

- Good interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience :

- Qualified Accountant - 2 to 3 years post qualification experience
