Role: Analyst/Assistant Manager Reporting and MI
Level: 1A/2C

Reporting to: Manager Reporting and MI
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Risk MI
- Support the MI Manager deliver high quality and accurate enterprise risk dashboards which include risk appetite, key risk indicators, risks, issues and control failings.
- Review other available MI and reports (e.g. audit reports, breaches, newspapers) to take a holistic view of enterprise risk and test the findings of Risks reports
- Ensure that consistent messages and reports are provided to all Committees, Boards, Group etc. as required
- Help the MI Manager liaise with Prudential Group Compliance, Group Risk and GwIA as appropriate to ensure full understanding of Group requirements
- Ensure involvement from the Risk Directors and CRO in the reports as required and agree reports in a timely fashion
- Perform adhoc analysis as required
- Review papers submitted by Risk support the CROs view wherever necessary
- Support the development of MI tailored to specific business areas as required by the Business Partners
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- A good understanding of risk management principles and practice
- A good understanding of the insurance industry and the issues and risks facing it
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience of design, preparation and presentation of reports
- Experience of operating and interacting with senior management
- Ability to research complex issues without day-to-day supervision
- Organisational awareness and a sound understanding of Prudential’s products, services and distribution methods
- Attention to detail
- Good influencing skills
