Role Overview:
As a Business Development leader, you will drive new business growth for Prozo by identifying and targeting potential clients, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships to understand their needs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales, achieving big sales success, and exceptional communication skills, all within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Business Planning: Develop a comprehensive business plan to acquire clients in a time-bound manner. Preparing a comprehensive client acquisition strategy will be key to your success.
- Consultative Selling: Work as a solution sales expert and create/maintain excellent relationships with clients. Tailor products and pitches according to their specifications.
- Prospect Nurturing: Nurture warm prospects and find new potential sales opportunities by understanding Prozo's offerings and the use cases we solve.
- Lead Generation: Lead the team to generate leads and build a sales funnel via on-ground visits, cold calling, and email.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engaging with their points of contact for the next steps.
- Commercial Scoping and Design: Work closely with the Solution Design (Pre-sales) team to drive solution designs, work on RFPs/Requirement documents for proposals, contracts/agreement closures, and deal closures.
- MIS & Reporting: Ensure the team maintains and updates all client information on CRM and other data points required by the CEO's & CRO's Office.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in front-end business development or supply chain consulting roles
- Preferred Industries: 3PL warehousing & freight, contract logistics, supply chain consulting, B2C & - D2C Enterprise Sales (not must)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Extremely strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- An entrepreneurial mindset, sense of ownership to genuinely solve customer problems, become a trusted advisor to customers and make things happen gets brownie points.
- Hunter mindset
- Excellent team dynamics skills
