Provost (COO/ Vice-Chancellor ) @ Vadodara, India   Our client is setting up a University in Gujarat and they would like to fill the following position with someone bringing industry experience or somebody from skill-based education and training companies.  Position : Provost ( Provost would be the COO/ Vice-Chancellor of the University )  Education : Engg/ MBA from IIT/ IIM/ Any well-known Foreign University. PhD preferred ( Ideally in Finance/ Engg/ Management )  Experience : 15 - 20 years of operations experience in industry with at least 3-5 years in managing an SBU/ P&L Centre. Good understanding of academics, skill-based education & training  Location : Vadodara (mandatory to relocate to Vadodara with family)  Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience  Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :  1. Candidate will have full responsibility over academics, operations and will need to manage the P&L.   2. Should have interest in academics. Pure academics experience will NOT fit in.  3. Knowledge of Gujarati is preferable but not mandatory. Relocation to Baroda with family is mandatory.  4. 15+ years of operations experience in industry with at least 3-5 years in managing an SBU/ P&L Centre.
