Job Description:

Protiviti India is seeking an experienced ESG Solutions Manager with over 7 years of expertise to lead ESG-related consulting engagements for our clients. In this role, you will guide clients on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, developing tailored strategies to help them achieve their sustainability goals. You will play a critical role in shaping ESG initiatives that align with clients' business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement:

- Serve as the primary contact for clients on ESG-related projects.

- Understand client needs and challenges, offering tailored ESG solutions.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

2. Strategy Development:

- Develop comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with client business objectives.

- Conduct materiality assessments to identify key ESG issues.

- Set ESG goals and targets in collaboration with client stakeholders.

3. Assessment and Reporting:

- Conduct ESG assessments, including gap analysis and benchmarking.

- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on ESG performance and recommendations.

- Assist clients with ESG reporting and compliance with frameworks like GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

- Advise clients on compliance with evolving ESG regulations and standards.

- Keep clients informed of key ESG trends and regulatory updates.

5. Risk Management:

- Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities.

- Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans.

6. Program Implementation:

- Lead the implementation of ESG programs and initiatives.

- Monitor and measure the impact of ESG initiatives to ensure they meet client expectations.

7. Research and Analysis:

- Stay up to date on ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments.

- Conduct research to support client engagements and business development.

8. Training and Capacity Building:

- Develop and deliver training programs for clients on ESG issues and best practices.

- Enhance clients' internal capabilities to manage and improve ESG performance.

9. Business Development:

- Identify new business opportunities for ESG consulting services.

- Support proposal preparation, pitch presentations, and other business development materials.

10. Team Leadership:

- Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability, or corporate responsibility.

- Strong understanding of ESG issues, regulations, and industry standards.

- Proven track record of managing ESG projects and client engagements.

- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.

- Professional certifications in ESG or sustainability are a plus.
