Proposals & Estimation Role - Project - Construction

JOB SCOPE

- Overall management responsibility for the assigned Proposal by the Opportunity Review Meeting and Center management, starting from selection of the opportunity until contract effectiveness and handover to project execution teams.

- For the duration of this designated proposal the incumbent shall act as an entrepreneur in the name of the Center Management. He acts as the Representative of company towards the Client.

- He shall develop jointly with sales clear objectives for the proposal based on

- communicated technical and commercial client requirements,

- background of the particular market and

- Company's technological portfolio

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS

- Co-develop of the winning strategy and define the proposal execution concept in coordination with Sales, Product Line, Execution and Operations.

- Develop suitable project execution concept in cooperation with Project Management .

- Develop suitable project schedule.

- Review all proposal documents (including contracts) for quality, competitiveness, consistency and completeness.

PROPOSAL EXECUTION

- Set up the Proposal Task Force and lead the proposal team members in order to execute the task in quality, and deliver the proposal deliverables in line with the estimate and defined scope & schedule.

- Lead, supervise and contribute to proposal activities related to preparation of technical and commercial proposals, estimate, risk management process and contract definition.

- Manage proposal budget. Ensure preparation of competitive proposals.

- Manage scope and deviation strategy to provide attractive and cost effective product.

NEGOTIATION

- Lead technical and commercial clarifications and contract negotiations, answer client's questions and comments, develop contract documentation.

HAND OVER

- Hand over all relevant information of the Proposal Phase to Project Management and initiate Launching Meeting.

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES

Education :

Master Degree / Bachelors Degree in Engineering

Discipline:

Engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical)
