Propelld - Director - Operations - Co-Lending

About Company: Propelld is a new age lending startup focusing in the education market doing an annual INR 1200 Cr + disbursal, backed by WestBridge Capital (largest in Financial Services space - backers of Axis, HDFC, CIBIL, AU small finance bank, Sharechat, Mamaearth, etc), looking to grow multi-fold in the next 3 years to an eventual IPO. Propelld is set to become one of the largest FinTechs in India over the next few years and hence growth and opportunities will be limitless at this role.

Open Position: Associate Director - CoLending | Location: HQ at HSR, Bangalore

Looking for individual who will be liaising with lending partners to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Develop and maintain reporting & application systems and coordinate information exchange with partner lenders.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for spearheading the onboarding and managing strategic partnerships with banks/NBFCs under Colending program

- Show high levels of ownership to carry out partner negotiations and alignment on commercials, credit policy, and operational processes for a mutually beneficial partnership.

- Play an active role for driving business volumes with each Lender and ensuring scale up of the partnership and closing legal documentation and onboarding of the partners on the co-lending platform

- Drive best practices in driving key relationships with Lender Partner ensuring a smooth flow of operations and managing escalations, monitoring and ensuring implementation of key projects in line with the business objectives

- Drive integration on all aspects of the strategic partnership across Credit, Operations, Risk Management, Technology and Product

- Be brilliant with numbers, interpreting data and solving problems and at the same time be able to build business relationships, talk to various levels of the organisation (CXOs to analysts), get work done by various people.

- Come up with ideas for driving integration on all aspects of the strategic partnership across Credit, Operations, Risk Management, Technology, and Product

- Maintain and track reporting MIS and share information with the Leadership.

Requirements:

We are looking for more expertise than experience. 7+ years of experience upwards is a good measure of relevant work experience in products/Treasury/BD in financial institutions whereas experience in co-lending business will be a plus.

- An MBA/CA/B.Tech degree will suffice the criteria. Deep understanding of Credit/Legal Documentation/Financial Products/Operations.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- An exceptional ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.

- You are open to travel regularly as per business requirements
