We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the crushing industry or construction equipment sales.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Sikkim.

This role requires expertise in selling high-value capital equipment (- 10 Cr to - 30 Cr range) and developing long-term business relationships with key clients in the aggregate, mining, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Target Achievement: Ensure the successful achievement of sales and revenue targets across the assigned regions (West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Sikkim).

- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive sales plans and objectives for customers across the region, focusing on maximizing revenue growth and market penetration.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and enhance relationships with key customers to foster constructive and profitable partnerships.

- Market Mapping & Business Development: Conduct thorough market analysis and develop business opportunities through market mapping and active business development initiatives.

- Product Support: Collaborate with the application and service teams to troubleshoot product issues and provide customer support for new product launches.

- Revenue Growth & Sustainability: Drive top-line revenue growth by managing customer service, promoting value selling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Solution Development: Focus on solution-based selling through conceptual approaches tailored to customer needs.

- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with the order desk, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth customer service and order fulfillment.

- Collaborative Environment: Foster a collaborative work environment across management levels, peers, and dealer networks.

- Aftermarket Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any aftermarket issues quickly to maintain customer satisfaction.

- Status Reporting: Provide regular updates and status reports on business activities, opportunity development, and customer satisfaction metrics.

- Compliance: Ensure that all activities are aligned with company values, policies, and procedures.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

- Industry Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the crushing or construction equipment industry (e., excavators, hot mix plants, concrete plants).

- Sales Experience: Proven track record in selling capital equipment with a price range of - 10 Cr to - 30 Cr.

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Stability: Demonstrated stability in previous roles with the ability to develop long-term relationships with key clients.

- Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and professional journals.

- Strong skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and establishing conclusions.

- Communication & Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills and ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and decision-makers.

- Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the aggregate, contract crushing, construction, and mining markets in the respective region.

Location & Travel:

Base Location: Kolkata, with travel required across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Sikkim
