JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role: Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing the business development initiatives in line with the business strategy for the crushing and screening business by understanding the market requirements & opportunities by providing technical product solutions thru effective engagement in collaboration with head Business Development & all internal stakeholders.
2. Understand and solve customer queries by deep understanding of customer needs and buying behaviours.
3. Focus on continued Product Development initiatives by working closely with engineering team to define product requirements, specifications, and roadmap based on market demands and customer feedback in consultation with Head Spares & Product Management.
4. Develop and implement strategies that enhance our product's value proposition and market positioning in collaboration with Engineering & Head Spares & Product Management.
5. Support the Engineering team in product development lifecycle, including ideation, concept
development, prototyping, testing, and final product release.
6. Develop and update technical documents / USPs / literature for training & provide technical insights to sales & BD team on Product value proposition with support from Head Business development and Engineering head.
7. Co-develop plans for new product launch for relevant markets, in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality product launches, considering the business and market requirements for sustainable growth in collaboration with Marcom team.
8. Conduct market / competitor analysis for identifying competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies related to crushing and screening equipment and provide insights to management on a proactive basis.
10. Develop relationships with key stakeholders of customers to strengthen ties for profitable business.
11. Conduct product performance Analysis and Optimization by monitoring product performance metrics, product quality and identify areas for improvement for ensuring sales revenue & customer satisfaction.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills/ Personal attributes:
ESSENTIAL (Functional Knowledge / Technical Expertise / Software / Experience / Behavioural):
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the crushing, screening and washing equipment manufacturing industry
- Strong technical understanding of crushing, screening and washing equipment, including knowledge of product design, functionality, and applications
- Strong Analytical Skills & project Mgmt skills.
- Experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the crushing and screening equipment manufacturing industry.
- Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product strategy and innovation.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, market study, trade shows, and industry events
DESIRABLE (Functional Knowledge / Technical Expertise / Software/ Experience / Behavioural):
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics and budget management.
Education Qualification:
ESSENTIAL BE / BTech Mechanical, Mining Engineering or related
DESIRABLE/PREFERRED MTech / ME Mechanical, Mining Engineering or related / MBA
