JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role Head Product Management

Reporting in who does this position report to Head - Sales & Marketing
Direct Reportees positions that report to this role directly Team Leaders / Product Managers
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing the Product Management strategy for Crushers and Screening business by studying / analysing customer requirements, competitors developments & market trends and recommend developments in existing product.
2. Guide the team by identifying, evaluating new product developments on a continued basis in
collaboration with sales & marketing and recommend the same to the Engineering team.
3. Provide suggestions and inputs to Business development team on new product launches in relevant markets.
4. Undertake market study in collaboration with Business Development in determining the product portfolio for new markets and Product positioning.
5. Analyse and advice on commercial viability of new products considering the market needs.
6. Guide the team in preparing technical literature / documentation / training of sales & Business Development team on USPs / value selling concepts.
7. Responsible for conducting field trials in collaboration with Sales & engineering function in analysing and validating the results of new product in-line with gate analysis (Business Case).
8. Hold periodic performance reviews with the team and suitably guide them for achieving the desired business results.
9. Ensure continuous development of employees and are appropriately motivated to carry out their required responsibilities

Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills/ Personal attributes:
ESSENTIAL (Functional Knowledge / Technical Expertise / Software / Experience / Behavioural):
1. Minimum 15 years of work experience in Product management. Candidate should be
from Mining / Crushing industry
2. Ability to guide and direct the team
3. Strong Interpersonal Skills for better working with internal stakeholders 3
4. Strong credibility and ethical compliance is must and Zero tolerance to unethical process /
system.
5. Good Communication skills (verbal & Written)
6. Effective networking skills
7. Strong Analytical skills
8. Excellent leadership skills (Guiding / Developing & Delegating)

Education Qualification:
ESSENTIAL: Graduate in Information technology / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
DESIRABLE/PREFERRED: MBA / M.Tech
