Project/Solution Lead - SAP - Supply Chain

Essentials

Background:

The incumbent should be able to comprehend and assess Supply Chain Planning & optimization issues in preferably multiple industry situations (Automotive, CPG etc) and accordingly architect/craft highly effective solutions through SAP APO & other related SAP SCM components. He/she should be the “Go To” person within the organization/practice for the relevant domain. The role involves proactive Pre Sales support through opportunity assessment, effective opportunity scoping/prototyping to deal closure, mentoring and ramping junior resources in the practice, leading large SCM engagements and representing the firm as a thought leader in various SAP forums nationally.

Job Role :

Key Activities / Responsibilities:

- Subject matter expert for multiple SAP APO modules (at least two areas out of DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP & TPVS).

- Proactive Pre Sales support through opportunity assessment, effective opportunity scoping/prototyping to deal closure.

- Lead large SAP SCM/APO engagements through solution design to implementation

- Represent the firm as a thought leader in various SAP forums nationally.

- People management for the relevant area.

- Conceptualize and build innovative solution assets/frameworks to address specific industry problems in the Supply Chain paradigm.

Academic Qualifications - BE/MBA

Experience -

- 8 to 12 years of relevant industry exposure with at least 2 to 3 full life cycle SAP APO implementation experience as a Project Lead/Solution Lead for multiple modules.

- Should preferably have CPG and /or Automotive Industry exposure

- Must possess deep understanding of ( and not necessarily restricted to) Statistical Forecasting techniques, Supply Chain Optimization, SNP Heuristic & CTM, Planning Strategies, Detailed Scheduling/Rescheduling Heuristics.
