Project Sales
What will be your duties & responsibilities?
- Sales Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, set sales targets, develop sales strategies, and ensure sales goals are met or exceeded. Motivate and coach team members to improve their sales performance and achieve individual and team targets.
- Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to drive business growth, expand market share, and meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, providing excellent customer service, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop strategies to retain existing customers and acquire new customers.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales data, track sales performance against targets, and prepare regular sales reports for management review. Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions to optimize sales results.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate sales activities, assign sales targets, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members. Provide training, guidance, and support to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, customer service, and finance, to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Provide feedback and insights to other departments to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.
- Sales Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the sales process, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline sales operations and improve sales efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales and incorporate them into sales strategies and processes.
What are the key requirements & skills?
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop effective sales strategies and solutions.
- Ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful insights to drive sales performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using sales tools, CRM software, and MS Office suite.
