Project Purchase Manager - Pharma

One of our leading Pharma Client is looking to hire people for Vashi, Navi Mumbai location.

Minimum 4 years in Purchase department of GMP certified Drug manufacturing firm / Pharma formulations manufacturing firm

Job Description:

- Effectively placing and negotiating purchase requirements of pharma equipments, plant & Machineries during the project stage, understanding the equipment details, techno commercial evaluation of various equipment.

- To identify new manufacturer’s of our required Equipments, Laboratory equipments, Plant & Machinery, spares, tools & tackles, fixtures, etc that shall be required at the time of constructing, erecting & commissioning of our US FDA approvable Bulk drugs manufacturing plant.

- To identify & evaluate the viability and effectiveness of procuring 2nd hand equipment vs brand new machinery in case of certain equipments

- To evaluate the various specifications received from vendors.

- To place enquiries with the potential suppliers

- To follow up with the suppliers

- To evaluate the offers received from various suppliers

- To negotiate prices from various vendors

- To place orders

- To follow up for deliveries

- To endorse payment indents

- To plan purchase requirements

- To update the vendors database
