Job Description:

1. Manage a team of customer solution specialists to ensure consistent service delivery to our customers in the South Asian region.

2. Ensure team members adopt consultative approach to understand customer challenges and opportunities in order to recommend the most relevant Sabre products/ services to meet their needs and drive business advantage.

3. Establish standard operational best practices for customer engagements, conversions, RFP response, and problem identification.

4. Ensure close coordination of efforts with sales and account teams, including renewal and conversion processes, acquisitions and RFP responses.

5. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Global Operations and other key stakeholders to drive Customer Solutions and Implementation activities

6. Manage team to provide project management and oversee key engagements to ensure successful implementations.

7. Effectively balance resources across multiple projects to ensure customer needs are met. Determines the viability of customer-driven requests for systems, third party tools and connectivity solutions including front, mid and back office.

8. Ensure team provides status to the field/ customers on product updates, enhancements and service changes

9. Ensure smooth migration from other GDS systems to Sabre during conversions

10. Engage key existing customers through regular reviews to strengthen partnership and provide relevant solutions to address their business challenges and meet their business strategies

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of engineering or technical degree with 8 years of experience in GDS environment

2. At least 3 years of experience in managing team in diverse cultural and geographical location in matrix organization

3. Experience in managing escalation and customer issues, keeping both Sabre and customer executives informed

4. Strong experience in managing large projects preferred

5. Ability to provide solutions to address customers needs

6. Proactive approach when dealing with customers

7. Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
