We are looking for a Project Manager (Support ), who will be a part of application support and development team and manage the Application Support function for a suite of applications, ensuring that the agreed SLAs are met at all times. The Project Manager is expected to apply ITIL methodology in the day-day project execution and follow the defined operating procedures for incident and problem management.
The Project Manager will have following responsibilities:
- Delivery Management - Responsible for managing the Support function. Ensure that the team also carries out Problem Management tasks along with day-day Incident Management. Ensure RCAs are carried out on time to determine cause of recurring incidents and provide solutions for permanent fixes. Ensure that the team maintains a Run Book and Known Error Database and ensure usage of the same in the day-day support operations.
- Stakeholder management and relationship building - ensure open communication and appropriate information sharing, and build credibility in order to work effectively with various groups with varied and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Business Analysis - Oversee the analysis of the business requirements
- Project Planning - Plan and manage project staffing needs, timelines/schedules
- Change management - ability to introduce, implement and manage all aspects of change, with teams and stakeholders, and communicate regularly and efficiently while complying with change management protocols
- Communicating and Presenting - effectively communicate with stakeholders, securing approvals when needed, and keeping them abreast of progress and potential roadblocks, and present well-organized information (amount/relevance) to right people at the right time.
- Risk management - analyze, anticipate and mitigate risk factors and work with the team and stakeholders to minimize risk.
- Tracking - keep on top of all numbers and metrics to ensure an accurate picture of current state, inclusive of budget (revenue/cost)
- Task Management - keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality results at each step within the project lifecycle.
- Project Management Methodology - Use disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop project plan, and execute projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and schedule
Technical Skills :
- Prior work experience in Application Support projects
- Knowledge of Insurance Broking will be a big plus
- Technical background with hands-on development experience in the past
- Previous hands-on experience of .Net and SQL Server
- ITIL certification
- PMP designation or equivalent project management experience a must

Prior Experience :
- 10+ years- experience in software support and maintenance with at least 4 years in role with people management responsibility
- Experience of working in global teams spread across geographies
Educational Qualifications : BE/BTech/MCA/MTech
