Project Manager - Solar Project

Project Management:

- Drive execution of the project adhering to stipulated budget and establish timelines. Work closely with EPC Partners, subcontractors, engineers, and Design Team.

- Develop, review and manage detailed project schedules, milestone dates, commissioning, and quality checklists

- Manage project administration and daily operations.

- Monitor the progress of the projects and provide progress reports and updates to the stakeholders concerned.

- Manage budget for the project and Develop and monitor monthly costs.

Project Construction:

- Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project.

- Examine and check all construction activities at the site to ensure that Design and Drawings are followed and complied with the latest codes and regulations.

- Identify and immediately act upon, any areas of exposure or risk mitigation.

- Offer technical solutions to local contractors performing project construction works based on past experience and industry best practices.

Health Safety & Environment:

- Guide and facilitate implementation and improvement of HSE requirements such as workplace safety, personal safety, asset integrity and environmental safety

- Register all incidents, perform investigation, and understand the cause and influencing factors

- Implement quality audits to ensure the site is fully compliant. Carry out awareness programs

- Conduct, document, and report daily site safety meetings to analyze job hazards

Stake Holder Management:

- Liaison with local authority, DISCOMS, CEIG and Utility to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Exposure:

1. BE in Electrical |Mechanical | Civil Engineering (PMP certification preferred)

2. 15 years of experience in large-scale utility Project Management with leading Solar IPP | EPC

3. Experience with solar tracker systems will be an added advantage

4. Ready to relocate to project sites (Pan India) as per the project requirement

5. Proficient in MS Office.

6. Good Communication skills & Problem-Solving skills.

7. Result orientation & Decision making
