Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of solar projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges proactively.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical expertise in solar panel manufacturing, installation, and integration with MEP systems.
- Review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions to optimize system performance.
- Stay updated on the latest solar technologies and innovations.
Marketing and Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and presentations highlighting the company's solar solutions.
- Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise during client meetings, proposals, and negotiations.
- Identify market trends, competitive insights, and opportunities to enhance the company's solar offerings.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of installations and address any deficiencies.
- Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to solar energy and construction.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within the solar energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar panel technology, installation, and integration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the solar industry.
