- Minimum 6 years of Security Operations and at least 1 year as Project Manager for the Security Projects
The primary responsibility is to interface with customers for the project needs
- Delivers contracted services by attending customer meetings, status communications, periodic meetings, and complete project management, etc.,
- Track project status and review project management plan
- Responsible for requirement gathering, stakeholder management, resource management, change, and risk management
- Prepare project plan and customize templates per the technologies and customer specifics.
- Responsible for taking a project work breakdown structure produced by the project team and turn into a professional project plan with resource assignments, dependencies, milestones, critical path identification, cost estimation, optimization, etc.
- Keeps the projects running, ensuring resourcing is done and completion dates are feasible. Do time and cost accounting for projects and submits timesheets to accounts for invoicing project work.
- Responsible for reporting Project Status to the customer and management. Compile the required reports (monthly, weekly, or quarterly)
- Excellent communication on the issues with the technical team
- Track and report the quality of deliverables and provide feedback for improvement of the same
- Track and report resource utilization for the set of projects.
- Track customer's project cost and profitability
- Assist service delivery manager in customer onboarding, meeting SLAs, and customer satisfaction
- Must have prior experience in Project Management
- Must have implemented/handled any of the security tool projects such as SIEM/ Vulnerability Management/IAM/PAM/CASB or any other security tools
- Must have a service mindset and empathy. Must deal with a level of ambiguity, chaos, and apparent
stubbornness from customers, and manage around it by thinking through the issue or request from the
customer's perspective to drive to a reasonable conclusion
- Must have prior experience of onsite-offshore delivery model and should have directly worked with
US/European customers or colleagues
- Must have knowledge on security framework like CIS, NIST etc.
Good to have:
- Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, Vulnerability Management
- Certificate in Project Management (PMP)
- Must know common security policy frameworks and possess knowledge of how security programs are run at mid to large-scale companies
- Prior Working Knowledge
o Background in infrastructure management with different operating systems, virtualization technologies, and networking is added advantage
