Job Opportunity: SAP PP/QM Project Manager

Position: SAP PP/QM Project Manager

Location: Sholavaram

Work Schedule: 6 days work from office

Type: 6-month contract (potential extension based on performance)

Key Responsibilities:

Discrete Manufacturing Setup Implementation:

- Lead SAP PP/QM configuration and deployment.

- Manage end-to-end project implementation.

Project Management:

- Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Master Data Management:

- Configure Materials, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions.

Production and Order Management:

- Configure Production Orders, MRP, SOP, Make to Order/Stock, and Batch Management.

Integration Expertise:

- Ensure integration between SAP PP and QM modules.

- Understand CO-PA integration with SAP PP.

User Requirements and Documentation:

- Conduct user requirements gathering and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with data and reporting standards.

Configuration and Change Management:

- Support production configuration and change requests.

- Implement best practice configuration skills for business implementations.

Problem Resolution and Process Modelling:

- Respond to user requirements and problem resolution.

- Develop designs and process modelling.

- Demonstrate proof of concept and assist in training.

Testing and Enhancements:

- Perform initial testing of fixes and new functionality.

- Stay updated on SAP releases and perform application research.

- Conduct assessments and make recommendations.

Specifications Development:

- Develop functional specifications.

- Work with BASIS and ABAP teams for development and testing.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and coordinate a small team.

- Maintain strong team connections and drive actions.

- MM Module Basics and Service/Warranty Process:

- Basic knowledge of MM module.

- Experience with service/warranty processes through SAP.

Requirements:

Experience:

- 8-12 years of SAP PP/QM configuration with one end-to-end implementation.

- Project management experience, preferably in a large manufacturing or IT setup.

Technical Skills:

- Extensive experience with master data elements in SAP PP/QM modules.

- Strong integration knowledge between SAP PP and QM, and CO-PA integration.

- Experience with MM module basics and service/warranty processes.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.

- Problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Note: This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension based on performance.
