We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in the banking industry to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee projects across various banking functions, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of banking processes, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budget, and resource requirements.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.

Team Leadership:

- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

- Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery and escalate as necessary.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

- Regularly provide project updates to executive leadership and other relevant stakeholders.

Budget Management:

- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently.

- Work closely with finance teams to provide accurate and timely budget reports.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Conduct regular project reviews and audits to assess compliance with project standards.

Scope Management:

- Define and manage project scope, ensuring that deliverables align with business requirements.

- Handle changes to project scope, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder communication.

Vendor Management:

- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, overseeing their work and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements as needed.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure that projects adhere to relevant banking regulations and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with compliance teams to address regulatory requirements within project deliverables.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the project management framework.

- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.

- Project management Tools like Jira/Confluence/Clarity/Ms Projects etc

- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in the banking sector.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

- Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry trends.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
