Project Manager/Project Lead - Supply Chain Team - Operations Excellence Centre

- This position is based in the Gurgaon/Bangalore office and is an integral part of Supply Chain Teams in Operations Excellence Centre of Expertise, housed under the Clients Performance Improvement Practice.

- The individual will be responsible for owning Supply Chain cases and work streams end-to-end, leading client discussions and driving case delivery, as an expert in the following areas:

- Complex network optimization, with hands-on experience with industry standard tools (e.g. Llamasoft SCG, anyLogistix, Gurobi, etc.) - Mandatory

- Safety Stock optimization

- Demand planning and forecasting

- The individual will be expected to be a trusted advisor. Individual will be reporting to the Director/Partner/Manager. Playing a key role in driving the team's overall answer, final materials, client communication, work planning, etc.

- The position will require the individual to deliver cases in an expert individual contributor capacity as well as in a COE team setup (depending on the case scope) and provide thought leadership and direction to resolve complex case issues and effectively manage client discussions.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering / master's degree, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain and Operations

- 6-11 years (Manager), 3-6years (Project Lead) of relevant experience (including consulting) in the field of network optimization, with hands-on exposure to tools like Llamasoft SCG, anyLogistix, Gurobi etc.

- Experience with safety stock optimization, in addition to network optimization would be preferred

- Consulting experience from a leading consulting firm strongly preffered.

- Candidate should have led large network strategy projects and demonstrated ability to develop client relationships

- Deep understanding of Supply Chain concepts, with an ability to train the team members from non Supply Chain background

- Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills.


- Ability to understand the relevant analysis required to prove a hypothesis and ability to gather information around it and make informed/logical assumptions where required

- Basic understanding of research techniques, information sources and statistical analysis/analytic techniques relevant to procurement

- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.

- Experience in using analytics or data visualization tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI is preferred

- Strong work planning, written and verbal communication skills
