Project Manager - Lean Expert - Green Belt

Purpose of Job: Translates the customer or business needs into improvement opportunities within his/her scope of responsibilities. Defines and maintains dashboard. Drive (continuous) improvement projects by applying primary Lean tools either by leading projects self or by mentoring other operational SSC colleagues. Provides support to the SSC Head and Head SM in developing the roadmap for the year plan.

Increase of efficiency

Identify, initiate and execute Lean Sigma projects

Build and lead Lean project teams

Assure that projects tie to key business priorities

Support, guidance and consultation to divisional operations

Provides regular updates on area of responsibility to functional leader as well as MBB/Deployment leader

Promotes Lean within own organization

Ensures correct reporting of project progress and benefit status

Develop and execute trainings

Provides and supports YB/WB trainings

Performs coaching for Lean nominees and YB's to ensure successful project completion

Develops specific Lean training on need-to base (WB, Kaizen)

Cooperation with regional and local business units

Identifies and escalates opportunities for improvements outside direct scope of responsibility to leaders

Business Experience-

Project management skills

Proven experience with leading (smaller) teams

Analytical skills

Knows how to deal with and/or is open to change

Note- Green belt certified is must
